It is about an unstable young woman who is, at first, very upset. She decides to seize the day and comfort herself with a day out in the City. Although her strangeness is evident at the end, she is not that different from many urbanites in the way in which they deal with their problems. It's a commentary on urban life and its lack of authenticity, which can only be numbed by pursuing acceptable, yet mindless, activities. A short poem that summarizes the moral of the story is superimposed over the final shot.
